Roles Available:

Masquer Ministries presents Musicals, Drama and Dance.
There are roles available for men and women for ages 17+ and of all ethnicities.
(13+ for our Youth productions)
Be sure to list any skills or interests on your audition form.

When to Audition:

Auditions are generally held by appointment. If you want to audition, e-mail us at auditions@masquerministries.com to be allocated an audition time.

What to bring to auditions:

A current headshot (if available), resume or a one page bio, comfortable clothes & shoes, a prepared 2-minute audition piece, a completed audition form. (See link below. Forms also available at the audition.) Your Palm Pilots, date books or calendars for scheduling purposes!

How the audition works:

• This may be a group audition.
• You will be taught a simple dance combination or mime.
• You may be given sides to read with other actors.
• You will be given a monologue to cold read.*
• You will present a simple song of the auditioner's choice.
• You will perform an Improv.
• You will also be interviewed after the other audition requirements have been completed.
• * If you are dyslexic, or have other reading needs, please inform us at the time of audition; this will in no way adversely affect your audition.

Scheduling:

Rehearsals are at the A-1 Naz theatre on Sundays from 1-5 PM. Any additional times will be determined by individual directors with cast schedules and conflicts in mind. You need to indicate times that you would not be available for rehearsal on the audition form.
