of Conduct & Contract
Mission Statement:

| 1 | I will respect that Masquer Ministries is a MINISTRY FIRST uplifting those around me whether associates or audience. |
| 2 | I will come to rehearsal prepared & ready to work (with scripts, handouts, pencils, etc.)
I will not be late. I will call if I am going to be late or miss rehearsal. I will respect the time of those I work with & will pay attention to the time lines and schedules given to me. I will use my time wisely. |
| 3 | I will TURN OFF ALL NOISE MAKING DEVICES before entering the facility. (ie cell phones, pagers, etc.)
I will respect the work going on around me. I will not interrupt the work going on around me. (slamming doors, talking loudly, etc.) |
| 4 | I will strive to have excellent communication skills, representing myself with honesty, openness & integrity. |
| 5 | I will not share my personal life at inappropriate times during rehearsal or performance. |
| 6 | I will respect the Church Family hosting us.
I will respect the space by keeping it clean, etc. I will not bring food, drink, or chew gum on stage during rehearsals (breaks will be taken.) I will not walk on the mats with my shoes. I will not play with equipment during rehearsal (i.e., punching bags, piano, etc.) |
| 7 | I will NOT re-direct the work the director has done in either my or another's performance. Also, I will not critique the performance of any associate whether they be actor, technician or other. |
| 8 | I WILL NOT TAKE ON AN ASSIGNMENT THAT I CAN NOT FULFILL. |
| 9 | I will respect the talents, gifts & abilities given to myself & my fellow associates, treating them as equal. |
| 10 | I will be aware of my speech, knowing that others may not be comfortable with a comment I may find harmless. (If it can't be said at the family dinner table, I will not say it here.) |
| 11 | I will NEVER say "I can't." I will say "I'll try my best." |
| 12 | I will allow myself to be vulnerable & support others as they are also. |
| 13 | I will perform all tasks to the best of my ability, knowing that I will improve with time & practice, without grumbling or complaining. |
| 14 | I will conduct myself with professionalism. |
| 15 | If I have a problem, I will put it in writing and take it to the director, before making it a public issue. |
| 16 | I will dress appropriately, knowing that the work is physical & that I am always representing Masquer Ministries. |
| 17 | I will respect the practice of "Secret Prayer Partner." |
| 18 | I will not bring pets or animals to rehearsal or performance. (Unless the animal has come from "Build 'a' Bear & is helping me backstage.) |
